Iliad Media Ltd will hereinafter be referred to as ‘ILIAD MEDIA’.

SUBSCRIBERS

1. All Ethical Business user account holders may receive carefully selected partner-related emails (EDM) from us each week. This enables us to keep Ethical Business a free-to-read website for everyone.

You can manage your subscription preferences or unsubscribe at any time via the provided links at the bottom of any email that you receive from us.

2. ILIAD MEDIA offers web access to www.ethicalbusiness.info via computer server facilities located in Kenya. ILIAD MEDIA reserves the right to make modifications and improvements to the said services and notice of substantial changes will be supplied to subscribers.
3. www.ethicalbusiness.info may be searched 24 hours a day and seven days a week. However, due to the inherent hazards of electronic distribution and the internet, there may be delays, omissions, or inaccuracies in accessing the website. If

LIMITATIONS

While ILIAD MEDIA makes reasonable efforts to ensure that there are no substantial inaccuracies or defects in the information comprised within the services or in the software used to make the services available, it makes no representations or warranties expressed or implied including but not limited as to the accuracy, completeness, current-ness, non infringement, merchantability, or fitness of the services for any purpose whatsoever.
9. Neither ILIAD MEDIA nor its agents shall be liable to the subscriber or anyone else for any loss or injury caused in whole or in part by its negligence of contingencies beyond its control in procuring, compiling, interpreting, reporting or delivering the information in www.ethicalbusiness.info.

11. Should the user or subscriber be in breach of any of the conditions contained herein, and having been notified of such breach failed to remedy same ILIAD MEDIA may summarily terminate this agreement without compensation.
12. Registration data and other information about you is subject to ILIAD MEDIA’s Privacy Policy. The privacy statement appears on the website as a link at the bottom of each page (in the footer).
13. The subscriber may not assign rights hereunder to a third party without the consent in writing of ILIAD MEDIA.
14. The rights and duties of the parties shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
15. Notices for the purpose of this Contract may be given by post or email in both cases to the last address notified to the notifying party.
16. Client services – Posting your job, event, press releases or reports

All submitted content to our website is reviewed before publishing. Submission does not guarantee the publishing of your content on Ethical Business.

Each submission is reviewed by our editorial team. If it is approved, we categorise and tag them for relevance and easy searching.

For guidance on writing a suitable press release, please read our Press Release Guidelines.

We will contact you via email if changes are necessary before we can publish your content.

We do not accept any content containing the following:

• Profane or abusive language
• Unsuitable images
• Content that is deemed irrelevant to our community

Jobs

The Ethical Business jobs board is dedicated to roles in sustainability. We reserve the right to decline publication of any job not deemed relevant for our site.

Events

The Ethical Business event calendar is dedicated to events related to sustainable development. We reserve the right to decline publication of any events submitted that are not relevant.

17. Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments are securely handled by Stripe.

In the case of client services, payment is taken only if your content has been reviewed and published. No payment will be taken for content that does not pass the review process.

Refunds: We are able to issue full refunds for payments, up to three (3) days after your content is published on Ethical Business.
